San Gabriel Valley Children’s Choir is excited to announce that registration is now open for our 2027 Youth Choir Series at Carnegie Hall!

This special opportunity is open to students in Grades 5–12 who are ready to take their musicianship to the next level and experience the excitement of performing on one of the world’s most celebrated concert stages.

​

The Manhattan Concert Productions Youth Choir Series brings together young singers to rehearse, collaborate, and perform under the direction of an accomplished guest conductor. Singers will work alongside other talented young musicians while preparing a distinctive festival repertoire designed to challenge and inspire developing voices.

A Carnegie Hall Experience

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Perform at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium

• Participate in festival rehearsals with singers from other youth choirs

• Work with Guest Conductor Melissa Keylock

• Participate in professional rehearsals and a Carnegie Hall sound check

• Attend the post-concert buffet reception

• Receive a certificate of participation and MCP souvenir lanyard

• Be part of an unforgettable musical experience in New York City

The program also provides learning tracks and preparation support before the festival so singers can arrive in New York fully prepared for the experience.

 

SGVCC Hospitality Package

For the 2027 Youth Choir Series, SGVCC will participate in the Hospitality Package.

The MCP Hospitality Package includes:

Rehearsals • Carnegie Hall Sound Check • Carnegie Hall Performance • Post-Concert Buffet Reception • Three-Night Hotel Stay

The three-night stay is scheduled at The Westin New York at Times Square or a similar host hotel, subject to availability.

Additional SGVCC travel arrangements, transportation, activities, meals, and final trip details will be provided to registered families as planning is finalized.

 

Who May Register?

Registration is open to:

Students in Grades 5–12

Because this is a major performance opportunity requiring advance musical preparation and travel planning, participating singers must be committed to attending required SGVCC rehearsals and completing all assigned music preparation prior to the trip.

Space for this program is limited.

A $300 non-refundable registration fee is required to secure your child’s spot in the 2027 SGVCC Carnegie Hall Youth Choir Series.

Registration is not considered complete until the $300 registration fee has been received.

Please carefully review your family’s schedule and commitment before registering. Once submitted, the $300 registration fee is non-refundable.
